Tens of thousands Christians from all over the country are expected to join in the Feast of the Black Nazareno on Monday, January 9, 2012.

Due to the procession and religious activities, road closures and traffic re-routing are inevitable; and residents living around Luneta/Rizal Park and Quiapo should expect heavy traffic, including on President Quirino Avenue here in Pandacan.

According to MMDA, vehicles and motorists coming from South bound (Osmena Hi-way) should turn right on to Pres. Quirino to Nagtahan Bridge when going to their destinations.

Calling all senior citizens of Pandacan! You are all invited to a Ballroom night from 5:00PM – 10:00PM tonight, January 05, 2012. If you are interested to come (or if you know someone),  call 589 9993 or text 0915 529 8669 for invites.

The event is called “Kasali Pa Kami“,  Senior Citizens Ballroom with Hermana Mayor Imelda Romualdez Marcos and Hermano Mayor Joey Tiongco. It will be held at Romualdez Mansion on Jesus Street, corner T. San Luis Street, right across Sto. Nino de Pandacan Church.

Sto. Nino de Pandacan Fiesta 2012
This year’s Sto. Niño de Pandacan Fiesta is extra-special as it is a prelude to our town’s tricentennial celebration in May. As always, the annual feast honoring Sto. Nino will have a week-long activities, including Mutya at Lakan ng Pandacan 2012, and Buling-Buling. The Fiesta week will be highlighted by fireworks display to officially welcome Pandacan’s Tercentenary year.

Fun Run: The 2nd Pandacan Challenge (UPDATE)

UPDATE 1 (Jan. 4, 2012): Instead of holding this event during the annual Fiesta, Fun Run 2012 has been moved to May 2012, in time for the Tricentennial Celebration of Pandacan.

According to Robert Tomas of SSKP, “…Hindi nag workout ang sponsorship. The SSKP inc board of trustees decided to move it to May 2012. Nagipit kami talaga…”
