After her retirement in 1975, she taught in Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science & Technology (EARIST) and also held an administrative position. She retired again under the Retirement Act in 1995. Her “retirements” didn’t stop her from teaching, and her passion urged her to teach again in Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa. One of those is the upcoming Pandacan Day next month – May 30, 2009. Mang Tony has been encouraging various Pandacan groups to join the Grand Parade dubbed as “Lakbayan sa Pandacan”. Dra. Lourdes Landicho-Evangelista was a parishioner of Pandacan since 1956 and was also appointed as a teacher in Jacinto Zamora Elementary School.
