1011 was informed of this sad news: Pandacan’s Andrea Palma passed away last Wednesday in an accident.
Andrea Palma was a graduate of St. Joseph School (Batch 94) and she worked as an Aviation Refueller at Shell Aviation Philippines. As a matter of fact, she was the First Woman Aviation Refueller not only in the Philippines but in the entire Asia. She started just more than a year ago, and became the breadwinner of her family especially when her father passed away in 2006.
Andrea supports the family now and it brings her great joy to take care of her mother. “I will give to her whatever I can. We are much closer now. She is my ally and my best buddy!” she says with a bright smile. —Source: Shell World Philippines, Issue 2 2008 (PDF | HTML)
Nakaburol po siya ngayon sa Sto. Nino de Pandacan Church in Bayan. Some of our members here, I believe, knew her personally, so they will pay last respect tomorrow.
We offer our sincerest sympathy to her family and loved ones. Andrea Agno Palma, may you Rest in Peace…
