Concern: OFW unaffected by crisis

Is this place also called “Plaza Azul?” If you know more information about this site, feel free to post in the comment box.

Sunday Video: “Tara Na, Sa Pandacan”

Here’s a nice (7min 25sec) video to start off your Sunday. It’s about the joint Fiesta Celebration (January 14, 2007) between Roman Catholic Church and Iglesia Filipina Independiente. The video includes a short introduction by Reb. Pd. Rene R. Malubay and Fr. Lari Abaco.

The actual song starts at 3:20 mark. I personally like the music, the beat is not hard to follow and the lyrics is easy to remember. Listen to it and tell us if it could be a potential theme song of Pandacan! ;)

Bob, it would be real nice if you could post the lyrics here! ;) Thanks again!

St. Joseph: UN Celebration Parade

Friday, October 17, 2008. The St. Joseph School of Pandacan celebrated UN Day (officially October 24) by organizing a parade of students wearing national costumes of different countries. Students and teachers alike came in their best portrayal of the countries they represent.

Below are some of the pictures taken from the parade. Students, teachers and parents are free to share additional pictures and experiences to this post.
