Hertz Senedrin: “My books, my Dad”

How many of you here read “READ Magazine“? If you do and still have a copy of Dec. 2008-Mar.2009 issue of READ, check out its RW (Readers Write) section as it features Pandacan father Hertz Senedrin‘s article.

Hertz was born and raised in Pandacan. He went to Labores in his primary education and was accelerated to Lucban before graduating High School in Manila Science. He finished his studies (Mechanical Engineering) in TIP and practiced his profession here and abroad specializing in HVAC (Heat, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning design). Now 39 years old with two loving kids, he was kind enough to share his article with us.

    hoy, ano ito mga kaibigan?! si hertz ba yan?!
    astig! congratulation po kuya kuya! isa kang dakila!
    pero alam niyo ba mga igan na di lang yan ang mga kinokolekta nyang mga libro? diyes porsiyento pa lang yan ng kanyang koleksiyon… opo, mas marami pang libro ang makikita sa lahat ng sulok ng bahay nila!
    isa na naman itong yaman ng pandakan!

    Boss Hertz ang tawag namin dyan…napakabait at matulungin na tao yan…Nung KB Chairman yan at councilor ng barangay maraming nagawang project sa kabataan si Boss Hertz…Sana marami pang taga pandacan na maging huwaran katulad nya…
    MABUHAY ANG MGA TAGA PANDACAN…

    Congrats Hertz  for your worthy endeavor . Magka-Batch tayo sa KB/SK   as well as  sa Pandacan Youth Movement. About 7 years na rin dto sa  UK.  My  favorite youth slogan ” Kilos KABATAAN sa PAGKAKAISA, Tayo ay may KINABUKASAN “.

    ai! sinu yan? :]] si daddy? ahehee ^^ tatay ko ‘to ee! naku.. sobrang hilig po niyang magbasa :]] and in fact namana ko po sknya un :]] kaya nga lang po medyo nagtatalo kami minsan.. dahil madalas ayaw ko po nung mga klase nung mga libro na binabasa niya.. di ku alam anu klaeng books un pero naalala ko ung mga authors nandun sila john grisham, ken follet, dan brown,  steve berry at marami pang iba. pero syempre may pinagkakasunduan din kmi like gusto namin basahin mga libro ni bob ong, paulo coehlo at syempre di mawawala ang mga classic books :]] aun.. nakakatuwa nmn andito si daddy :]] read the article its really nice :]]

    Si Hertz kaklase ko yan sa Labores kay Mrs. Marcelo.Hindi ko dati alam kung anong klaseng adrenalin ang mayron sya pagdating sa pag-aaral.Tambay rin naman ako ng library,pero bakit parang talagang kakaiba sya?Alam nyo bang naging miyembro din yan ng chorale kay Mrs.Tomas.Lahat sinalihan nya,pag may activity nandon sya.Ang di ko makakalimutan yung pagkaramirami naming bulate na kinuha sa likod ng bahay nila para sa science experiment. Tama! Ngayon naiintindihan ko na.Yan nga si Erns born leader,the best and always hungry for knowledge.Congrats keep it up!
