5 killed in holiday homicides

MANILA, Philippines–Five persons, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents in a span of 12 hours in Manila.
Reports from the Manila Police District (MPD) homicide section identified the fatalities as 48-year old Lydia Arias, a homeless scavenger, who slept on the sidewalk of R. Hidalgo Street in Quiapo; Henry Placio, 43, of Jesus Street in Pandacan; 48-year old Barangay 46 watchman Reynaldo Madulid, of San Ramon Street in Tondo; Johnny Llabore, 18, of Wagas Street in Tondo; and Francis Abrazaldo, 22, of San Luis Street in Pandacan.
The first incident happened at 2 pm, Christmas day, along Retroko Alley while Henry Placio was on his way home with his two children. Placio was repeatedly shot by one of two men identified by the aliases “Barok” and “Butchok,” who escaped after the attack.
Placio was declared dead on arrival by attending doctors at the Ospital ng Maynila from four bullet wounds in the face and body.
At around 4:30 pm of the same day, Barangay 46 watchman Reynaldo Madulid was beaten to death by two men for accosting a boy playing with firecrackers.
PO2 Joseph Kabigting of the homicide section said that the boy whom Madulid accosted was able to escape while he was being brought to the village hall and was able to seek help from a certain Jayson Humady and a George Arriza, who immediately confronted Madulid.
The two men came upon Madulid at the corner of Tuazon and Wagas Streets in Tondo and attacked him. The victim was brought to the Gat Andres Bonifacio hospital where he died from the beating while his assailants were able to escape.
At around 7 p.m., 18-year old market helper Johnny Llabore died of multiple knife wounds after he was attacked at the corner of Claro M. Recto and Sto. Cristo Streets in Tondo while he was walking home from a Christmas party.
Llabore was declared dead on arrival at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Hospital from stab wounds in different parts of the body.
Some thirty minutes later, Francis Abrazaldo was stabbed in the back and died while undergoing treatment at the Philippine General Hospital.
Before the incident, which happened along Labores Street in Pandacan, Abrazaldo had allegedly made rude remarks about 17-year old Jeffrey Baludes and a woman with him. The discourtesy angered the teenager who reportedly stabbed the heckler with a 12-inch knife in retaliation.
At around 2:30 a.m., Friday, Lydia Arias was assaulted with a knife in an alley of the Barter Trade Center along Arlegui Street in Quiapo.
Senior Police Officer 1 Edgardo Ko, case investigator, said that several hours before the incident, Arias had gone to some shanties near the Barter Trade Center reportedly to buy some coffee.
But when she returned, Ko revealed, witnesses saw her running with multiple stab wounds in the body. Arias was declared dead on arrival at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center from multiple stab wounds in the chest.
In all incidents, none of the suspects was arrested and they remain subjects of a hunt by operatives of the MPD.

Dito lang malapit sa amin nangyari yun, sa Jesus Street Extension, malapit sa talipapa. Kumpare pa ni Francis yung si Henry. :( Kahapon ko nga lang din nalaman na may nangyaring barilan nung Christmas. How sad.

Nakakalungkot nmn yun nangyaring pananaksak dyan sa may labores st.taga hilum ext. yang sumaksak hindi baludes SALUDES ang tamang apelyido at taga lozada st. nmn yun npatay nakakatakot nga kasi may banta na gaganti sila pag di nilabas yung nanaksak kaya s piesta sigurado ko may gulo sana mabilis namn mag responde ang pulis 10 station kadalasan kasi tapos na ang gulo!kaya tuloy nasa PASAY na si SALUDES o kaya sa PANGASINAN dun kasi ang partido ng nanay nya. May isa pa ngang pangyayari na yung huhulihin nila sana na teenager na naglaro ng baril na muntik ng makatama wala din di rin nahuli nakatakas din huli din kasi sila dumating balita nasa BULACAN sa side ng nanay nya pero bago nakapunta ng bulacan e s bubong ng bahay nila nagtago kaya di raw nakita ng mga pulis siyempre tinago ng kamag anak mga CAYABYAB pa!!!!!!
