Pandacan: Walang Tubig! November 09, 2008

BREAKING NEWS: We were informed that a main water valve somewhere in Balagtas broke. That’s the reason why we see several fire trucks giving away free water to Pandacan residents.

Pandacan doesn’t have water from the tap since dawn. It is still unknown when Maynilad will be able to bring back the water service. If you have any information, please feel free to post in the comment section.

The following pictures were taken on Quirino Avenue (Obesis Street and Paradise Street). There were more fire trucks in various parts of Pandacan (ie. Beata, Bayan, Central); unfortunately, we didn’t have our camera ready at that time.

May tubig na ba kayo?

    grabe na ito… mainit na nga eh wala pang tubig na pangligo…
    buti na lang at may mag mababait na bumberong namimigay ng tubig.
    haaaaay, anong oras kaya magkakatubig.
    di bale, sa cariton naman ako nakatira eh…
    buti pa, magpunta ako sa mall…

    Oo nga kainis! walang tubig! Buti meron pa kaming ipon sa drum, paano kung paubos na? Hay naku sana magkatubig na. Tuuubbbiiiiggg!

    sa amin meron na pong tubig kagabi pa. kaya lang ayon sa mga taga balagtas nang mapadaan ako mawawalan daw ulit ng tubig mamaya kaya mag-ipon na po kayo.

    nagkaroon rin kami ng tubig kagabi kaso madumi at may amoy na di maganda……

    nakausap ko po ang brgy chairwoman ng Brgy 864, at napag alaman na may nasira sa bahagi nang Laura (papuntang Carreon – Inviernes) kung saan may ginagawa ng MWSI sa pamamagitan ng DMCI subcontractor. ang perwisyo ay nasabing umabot hanggang Paco at panandalian lang nabigyan lunas kahapon. ngayon patuloy na inaayos at perwisyo na maaring umabot ng 3 araw.

    Kayo ba ay mga nagsi-ligo na? :P Perwisyong malaki ito, lalo na sa mga local businesses… 3 days?!
